Thug cat like it. Sophisticated cat barely touches it. Squeal goes on forever. Just sit in front of door or open window & you'll hear if someone is there. One of our young cats likes to chew so we had to cut the tail off before she swallowed it. The toy has taken a real beating and the electronic squeaker still works great. Would buy again but not for my cats as they have other more favorite toys (especially “wand” toys)My cat loved the toy but chewed on it until it was dead. A short but intense romance. My cat ADORES this toy. If she does not have it she will let you know! It is noisy but she loves it so it's worth having her go squeak in the night.Actually does sounds like a real mouse. I love holding it my hands where the kitties can't see while the mouse is squeezing. I can get them to follow me all over the house for an hour. Great exercise for before bed.BEE-aware that it makes a loud buzzing noise, so if your cat is frighten of loud sounds you may want to pass this cutie up.Got for our two large cats. Can’t speak to the battery life span as we just receivedCute toy for my kitties. I love that it's NOT made of real animal fur.I don’t want to bad mouth the product as it delivers on everything — it’s very soft, nicely made, makes a sound when squeezed. But good god does my cat hate this thing. She is so afraid of it that we’ve taken to calling it Devil Mouse. If your cat isn’t bothered by noises and is of a bold sort then this product is for you, but if it has a more calm and/or anxious then you really should look for some other toy. These days we use it as a deterrent — when we need the cat to exit the premises we just throw the toy into the room, make it make some noise, and the cat flies out of the room like a bat out of hell. As they say, there’s a job for every tool.Cat likes it so that's the main thing. Sounds weird though. It's a mouse but it sounds like a drunk bird stuck in a tin can.Edit - Got to say the cat more than likes it, he loves it! Still going almost a month later, still sounds weird though! He loves playing fetch with this or cuddling it to himself.I purchased two of these, one for my fur baby and another for his brother who lives nearby. My boy has shown absolutely no interest in it. I’ve tried to get his attention with it on numerous occasions, but he remains disinterested- and given his musical nature, the only time I’ve heard any noise from it was when someone accidentally kicked it.On the other hand, his brother’s dad tell me he loves his. So 50% success rate!Having said that, I do find them to be significantly overpriced for what they are.My two year old cats love this toy. It does make a really good noise and when I throw it across the floor they chase it like a real mouse. It's giving them plenty of excercise. It's very durable as it has withstanded them whacking, chewing, biting and killing it and it is still going strong over a month later. no loose threads of tears.Oh dear. Think my cats are more interested in the real thing. I appreciate that anything for cats is hit and miss as they’re picky little things. However, this toy generated less interest than anything. Can’t mark it too low as I thought it made a great sound, feels quite real and was sure they’d go for it. They didn’t. Looked at me like I was crazy and walked off. Epic fail in this house. For reference we have two rescue moggies around one year old, very playful. Deadly killers.
