I bought these to use with my students as reading trackers. They love them. We were having such a hard time with them keeping up with us as we read. Even when reading out loud, they would get lost. We would tell them to follow with their fingers, but it just wasn't working. The teacher in the class next to mine and I ordered these, and got the kids excited about them. They think they are so cool when we use these. I think the red on the fingernails really helps keep them focused, too. I can't answer to how well they glow in the dark, but they are very sturdy and thick. I'm not worried about them being flimsy and falling apart ever. When my own children come to visit my classroom, they also love wearing them and pretending to be witches. So they work for what they're made for, too!
