I bought this almost two years ago for my daughter when she was two. Bother she and my second child play with this all the time and it has held up great. It’s small enough to not be in the way and it’s fun for my children. The only bad thing is that it took a long time to put together but it then proved to be quite sturdy. My daughter loves this! She spends so much time in her "kitchen." It's definitely her favorite toy. One of the doors is slightly off kilter now but she probably pulled it down and damaged it- I can still close it so no biggie. It took some time to set up and one thing I didn't realize was that some of the bolts were painted and others weren't- painted ones go on front- so keep that in mind when putting it together... I love the look of it and it is also a very good size for my almost-2-year-old. She just can't reach the very top yet.I love how it looks and that it's made from wood, the instructions was very good and even had the screws marked up with a,b,c etc so u know which one exactly to use (make sure u use the ones with painted white heads for the parts where u always will see the screws). The bad part is that some stuff won't fit in right. I can't get the screws under the sink to fit in right but it so far didn't matter. And the one thing for the door to close is missing in the instructions and I miss screw holes for it. The other holder to keep a door closed fell off from the short screws so I removed them all.. Don't want my daughter to eat them. This is so cute. There are so many knobs to turn and doors to open. My LO is 15 months and she's too young to play with it like an actual kitchen but she sure has fun opening doors, putting things in the sink, turning knobs, etc. Not only that but it is super cute and looks adorable in her play area. We have a plastic cookware set for her and she has a ball moving them around on the shelves and in the microwave, oven, etc. LOVE this adorable kitchen.Super cute kitchen and made well. Lots of steps to put it together, but easy to ensemble. The only thing that I was disappointed in was how short it was. It is perfect for my 3 yr old daughter now, but we are thinking we will need to build a lift for it in a year or so.I would have given this kitchen 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the screws for the hinges on the doors are junk. I don't know if they just drilled the holes to big, but they don't fit tight from the get go. I'm going to have to buy new screws for all the hinges. Other than that though, it is adorable and everything else is solid and well built.Lots of parts and assembly but our little 1 year enjoys itThis is a beautiful little kitchen and the perfect size for our 1 year old nursery class, but the sink bowl, faucet and oven door have fallen off after one week in our church preschool. There are only about 8 children using it daily and they are between 18 and 28 months old. Maybe older children would be more gentle? I'm very disappointed that parts are so easily pulled off and broken.Overall this is a very nice product, good quality, robust and the kids love it.I'm writing the review to help potential future purchasers. The kitchen is flat packed & requires assembly. The assembly is pretty straight forward if you are familiar with ikea style furniture. Each piece is label & the screws & fixtures also vacuum packed & labelled.Assembly takes about 3 hours.some general hints:1) When assembling, you will notice that there are several packs of the same screws with the same reference, however, some of them are painted white on the flat end and others are not. These white ones are intended for the outside of the kitchen for the parts that will be visible. There's no indication or explanation of this in the instructions.2) don't overtighten the screws as most are into plastic so will tear easily if screwed too hard.3) Don't remove the number levels from each piece until it's assembled to the main kitchen. The assembly works in many pieces at the same time & it's easy to forget which one was panel 6 or panel 8.The kitchen comes extremely well packaged so after the assembly there's a lot of packaging waste.I filled 1.5 bags with polystyrene & plastic packaging & about the same volume of cardboard for recyclingVery pretty once assembled, clean lines and very good quality, the only issues I had was with the instruction manual towards the end it got quite confusing which added extra time and ended up missing out one slab and only realising at the end but to late to attach and there were rings missing for the curtain rod which we searched the box for but couldnt find which was a shame. However my 5 year old daughter is over the moon with her new kitchen.I bought this for my 2 year olds birthday and she loves it. It is the perfect size and height for her and the knobs make a clicking noise when turned. My daughter especially likes the tap and keeps 'washing' her teddies hands. I can see my daughter playing with this for hours on end. The assembly took me 3 and a half hours to do alone but was relatively straightforward. The only confusion I had was that some screws are white on top and others are not and the instructions dont tell you which to use where so i have some white headed screws on display and some normal ones. This doesnt bother me too much but I just didnt understand why these were provided with no instructions as to where to use which where.Poor quality for the price you pay and this was already a replacement for the first order placed (first few parts taken out of the box were defective). The cut outs for the hinges are poorly done and uneven, there is a small (and rough) gap at the bottom of the microwave and the side wall of the kitchen,,,, The cupboard doors don't fit very well and it's very visible, as they were the last parts to attach we didn't realise it until after spending the entire day on the assembly. The printing on the microwave and the cooker could have been of better quality also..We would be sending this one back too if out LO hadn't seen it already, she does like itBeautiful little kitchen. Fairly easy to assemble, took around 2 hours. Good quality. My 20 month old loves it. I bought a toy washing machine raised the middle shelf a little and put it in there as an additional feature.
