My bird isn't a fan of a lot of the toys I've bought her over the yrs. Most get ignored completely even tho they looked like they'd keep her attn & well entertained. As expensive as bird toys are, this gets frustrating. And they take up her valuable cage space. But this particular toy finally got her excited enough to play w/ it. She even gets plumb silly & pretends she's guarding it from me. I didn't hang it since I expected it to be another dud. I have used an acrylic parrot bath that I securly attached to the outside of her cage right over one of her extra cage doors, then secured the door in the open position & made sure there was nothing she could get a toe or anything caught on or anything that could cut her. I put a bit of plain "chopped" straw (no alfalfa or cedar w/ strong smells that can make a bird sick) in the parrot bath instead of water. She fell in love w/ the extra space this gave her, enlarging her cage as if it had a room added onto it, & she loves sleeping on her straw bed, sometimes even rolling over on her side, instead of holding onto perches all the time. So I stuck this toy in the corner of the acrylic parrot tub fully expecting it to be ignored. But she likes it, even climbs on top of it & revisits this toy daily to pick @ it, sit on top of it, & push it around. Finally found something she likes!
