Was looking for something to convince my pup to swim. Instead she spends her time saving these fishies from the water and piles them on the side of the pool in a group. Then often checks on them.?♀️Her brother on the other hand enjoys chewing on them. They are holding up well. They have good density the only vulnerable point is the nose with a hole for a string or loop. He bit that off.Otis has several Ruff Dawg indestructible toys for well over a year now and they've all held up great! With summer almost here, I wanted to get him a new toy for the boat and thought this would be great. He loves to play in the water! I knew it wasn't one of their indestructible ones, but figured it would last a little while. Once I opened the package and saw how thin it was I knew it wasn't gonna last. I gave it to him anyway to test the durability, and I was right. It didn't last 20 minutes before he chewed it apart. I gave it 4 stars because I love this company, and this toy would probably stand up to many other dogs. But if your dog is a "power chewer" don't bother with thisI absolutely love these for our lake swimming dogs with two issues: first, dogs see orange much better in the water than pink, so if you get a pink one, expect it to get lost in the waves. I end up throwing a rock out to the area so my dogs can find it. They have no issues with orange at all.Second, while I absolutely love these, so does my powerful chewing lab we rescued. Once he figured out how to eat it, if he is left unattended, he will systematically destroy it. That’s not a design flaw at all. These are durable. That’s a stray dog who had his way too long in the world. Lol and apparently we can’t have nice things bc of it. :)I would highly recommend these as a water toy for your dog. Just be aware of the mentions above. This is THE BEST water toy...it's my Lab's favorite, and after a year of use, she's finally chewed off two tiny pieces on each side of the tail, so I ordered another one just to have in reserve. It's so worth it. Nice soft pliable rubbery toy that seems kinda realistic - she must think has great mouthfeel. I highly recommend! He loves it , hasn’t turn yet and he’s a Australia Shepard .Loved by my dogsSilicone is very durable but my dog has chewed the face off….. she is a chewer!!! This is her absolute favorite water toy, it floats and the bright color makes it easy to locate in the lake!Great dog toy. My dog actually has only managed to chew off his nose and one fin in a week. Although I have yet to find a toy she does not manage to destroy. She is a Lab/pit mix. It is very durable rubber, very stretchy fine and tails, for most dogs I feel it would be almost indestructible. My dog is the exception to the rule. She managed to get her teeth into the eye hole(rope) hole. That is the only reason she was able to chew the nose off. This toy is a soft rubber that my dogs found so realistic they carry it so gently that it slides out of their mouth and flops around. So entertaining to watch. Only wish they didnt put the hole in its face because that is where it breaks. This is a supervise only toy or else it wouldn't survive. Loved it so much I have now bought 3. Dogs love fetching it from their pool. It's the most popular toy in the dog park. When I threw it out, all the dogs swimming to pick it up.Don't let the dogs play at home, it will break into small pieces. It's big enough for big dogs, maybe too big for the small breeds.it's good to have a hole for string, we lost many balls in the water. When the dog getting tired, he doesn't want to fetch the ball back. This one, we can pull it back with the string.I love the idea of this, for my dog who likes to swim out for sticks, but its just too large for her.If there was a smaller size I would order it.Looks like a good product, but this size is probably better suited to a lab or golden retriever, than to my mini-doodle
