I bought this for a friend's baby shower and it was an adorable gift! She has a 3 year old boy and a new little girl. She says this is just the perfect toy for family bath time, big brother loves making it rain on the little one. Would def buy again! My kiddo loves playing with this cloud in the bath, but for what is essentially a cloud shaped hollow piece of plastic its a little expensive.I have nothing better to do than to write reviews about bath tubs and bath toys at 3 in the morning because I truely do sweat out the details and research in this beloved and sometimes feared chore. My newest favorite bath toy is this. You submerge it in water, and it fills up perfectly. The size of the single hole on top of the cloud is perfect, and molded with pure smoothness. This is not a cheap watergun party favor from your kids' friends birthday. Those do not fill up well and you have to try all sorts of angles to see proper air bubbling. All angles work, but the best is simple no angle submerged. Same uniform size air bubbles pop up like a dance.Next, you cover the hole with one finger and wrap your otherr fingers around. You life it up, higher than your toddler's head, and then you hold your breath, releasing the finger on top.Downpour!Okay, more a steady sprinkle, but delightful and quickly the storm is over and you need to refill. To cleam or aerate: Squeeze on the sides of the cloud and a gap will appear at the centerline. Stick one fingernail from another hand in whilst squeezing in one hand, and pry it open. Voila. Lay open on a hand towel on a countertop. Dries completely in minutes. Is this patented? All bath toys need this mechanism. You'll see what I mean when you open it. No mold problems.Object is a thing of beauty snapped back together and displayed on my bathroom counter. My only wish for improvement? A way for it to click side by side to other clouds for a real stormy experience. Like those atom molecules toys you see chemistry students play with...Update (3 days later): my daughter has figured out how to hold the cloud so the water comes out. She sets it down, lets it fill up while she plays, and picks it up to let water stream out. She holds her other hand under the stream and goes "rain!" Now I'm grateful for the size and I added a 5th star.VERY well-made. The hole on top is so nifty, and it's great how it has a water-tight seal but is still able to come apart. Small for the price, but the size does make sense. You need it to be short, so it's easy to refill in a toddler's shallow bath water. I wish it held more water so we could have longer instances of rain coming down. Often, the water's all gone by the time I get my daughter to notice it. But she loves it, she grabs the water stream and says "rain!"This is so simple but also very useful for rinsing soap off little bodies. Kids love playing with it too! This will definitely be a new baby shower go-to gift.It took me a metal spoon to open the item as instructed to be able to clean it. I needed far too much leverage (it took nearly ten minutes...had to sit in a chair to get this thing open.) For the price and the novelty, I didn't find that worth the time.FunI bought this for my friends kids (ages 4 and 1) and they absolutely love this cloud!!! They even ask to play with it outside of bath time. Well worth the cost. It's cute but it's far too expensive. If you have one bath toy, make it this one! Plunge it under the water and feel the bubbles as the air is displaced - turn it upside down for lots of little bubbles, or leave it upright for a few big ones - then cover the hole, lift it high, and watch it rain!I should have ordered a second one so each child could play with one. It was a little smaller than I anticipated but it is really cute.A wonderful product that continues to interest the kids (1.5 and 4 yr olds). Also, crucially, easy to clean and not a grub collectorGreat
