I didn’t like the price of $14.98, especially since I bought the same Shark toy at HomeGoods for $4.98 a few weeks prior. But HRH, Bella, absolutely loves that Shark toy & hasn’t wanted to play with any of her other toys since I bought the first one. What’s a fur mommy to do? HomeGoods didn’t have another one, so I bought one at Amazon for her. I sing Mack The Knife (not all of it) when we play with it. I like the fact that there is no stuffing in it. Please don’t buy stuffed toys for your fur child. It has 3 squeakers in it that will drive you crazy but buy one anyway.Shark is smaller than I thought it was. Our large lab mix dog chewed into the ‘fin’ material soon after it was given to him. He enjoys squeaking the toy as the squeakers are big inside it.She had the hippo and nearly wore out the fabric before the squeeker! Amazing. We ordered the monkey, but the two squeeker halves had a sizable 1/4 - 1/2 inch gap. The replacement is good, just how I expected it o the first delivery. She sometimes carries it to bed. This is my 7mo old Boston Terrier's go-to toy... its spent a lot if air time being thrown from the living room down the hallway to the foyer, and returned in a puppy's mouth. FYI, as a brand new 2-3mo puppy, the squeeker was unbearably scary to her. She loves it now! We’ve gone through like ten of these over the years. My dog loves it!Nice toy with minimal appendages - meaning that body parts are not quickly chewed off. I made the mistake of getting this one along with one for the Large dog. This monkey is intended to be a small dog toy and as soon as I felt it, I knew my English Shepherd of 8 months would probably have it torn up within a day or two.I really like the design - no ropes or braids or legs, no small pieces for the eyes, etc. The monkey does have a small curly-Q tail but so far it's stayed attached to the monkey. It's durability has surprised me so far.For years I have had a Jack Russell terrier, which I think might be considered a small/medium dog (at least mine was). This toy would have lasted him weeks or even months, he didn't set out to eat his toys. Now I have an English Shepherd and I forget that she's probably considered a large dog. She rarely chews up anything EXCEPT her toys, but when she gets a new toy, she spends hours "getting to know it" and she's got pretty sharp teeth. The fabric on this toy is durable, not easily torn. Because there is no stuffing the squeaker is easy for the dog to squeak - and if your dog hasn't had squeaky toys before, that might freak them out just a little, it did my dog, she started off apprehensive of the toy but quickly grew to enjoy it.Because this toy is hollow and not dense, my dog doesn't chew on it the same way as she did her rope-style toy, and therefore this toy has lasted longer than the KONG Pudge Braidz Pig Dog Toy, Medium/Large toy (which lasted about 10 minutes). Someone else here posted some good pictures of their larger sized dog with this toy, and that dog looks to be about the same size as mine. That person stated the toy didn't last long and showed pictures of how it looked after being dismantled. I expect that to happen to this one since that dog's size is similar to mine, although it's lasted so far more than a day. I guess it partially depends on not just the toy but the dog, too. Because there's no density to this toy, my dog doesn't seem to want to chew it like she does a bone, instead she tosses and wrestles it, occasionally making it squeak, then lies down next to it and takes a nap.All in all, this is so far, my favorite dog toy brand. It's less dangerous than the Kong toys or the Nylabone toys, and especially less dangerous than the rope style toys. I purchased several other Petstages toys and so far, they have lasted longer than any other brand, including those named. I just should have been more attentive to the recommended dog size, as this toy is clearly not ideal for large dogs. The Petstages Gator toy is better for a large dog. I have also purchased that one and find it much more suitable.I have 3 dogs Frenchie, sheltie, and g-shepherd. They all three loved it. But it only lasted 2 days. I think if it was just the 2 little ones it would have been find. But the fabric didn't stand a chance with the shepherdDurability-wise, I’m not sure how well this shark would hold up to an aggressive chewer. Prior to the purchase of this shark, I would have considered my dog an avid de-stuffer of all soft, plush toys. However, for some reason, my dog seems to love his shark and has not completely annihilated it. He’s taken a fin or two off, but stuffing is still intact. I’m thinking this is his new favorite toy, and I love that he loves playing with it!My dogs have all loved these, but they don't hold up quite as well as the older ones. The fabric rips more easily and the plastic squeeze part comes out. My dog still loves running around and biting it to make noise, but it doesn't look as nice.I brought this from a shop and came back to amazon to buy a spare one because it's become my dog's favourite toy. He carries it everywhere and when it's bedtime he'll make a point of going to fetch it to take to bed with him. It's really brought out his maternal instinct! He's had it for two months and although the tips of the fins have been chewed, the main toy is still going strong. It's been in the washing machine twice and the squeakers inside do fill up with water which needs to be squeezed out (easy to do) before giving back to mutley. It's a fun floppy toy that he hasn't destroyed 10 minutes after getting it so I'm as happy as he is.my dog had the same toy as this for 7years i re odered this one as the old one got put in the washing machine which really upset my dog because it did not squeak any more and she kept winning at it for days so i had to hide the old one. 7years is a long time for a dog toy to last so really happy my dogs love this brand of toy they are well made.really happy thankyouSeems well made, no damage by sharp puppy teeth yet. Nice solid squeakers which feel like they'll last. Good crinkly sounds and a nice size to carry/toss about. However, the price has gone up to £10.99 which seems quite a lot (I paid £8.32).I briefly wanted to celebrate this toy's sixth month of surviving my miniature dachshund puppy. Every other toy, some garments, a curtain and an entire length of skirting board has succumbed to his ways - the floppy shark was his first toy and is the last one standing. Fresh batch being bought now. All hail the shark. My dog loves this she’s only small but she drags this round theroom
