My dog is obsessed with these balls. She has approximately six million other toys, but is only enamored with these. They withstand her snappy terrier jaws and are easy to locate, due to their bright colors, when she purposely throws them under all the furniture. When I can no longer stand the dog slime coating on them, clean up is a breeze. They are a little spendy, but they keep my demonic puppy busy and that’s priceless.I have an 85lb lab mix who loves to chew tennis balls and Chuck It balls until they are in pieces. We have the large size and he cannot destroy this ball. It's easy to wipe down and doesn't get soggy or full of slobber. It's light weight but not too light so you can throw it far. It also floats so it can be used to play fetch in the water and it does glow pretty well, even when the original color fades from the sun. We have had 3 of these balls for years and they are still good to go!If you're buying this ball for its glow-effect, skip it and buy the Chuck It version instead, as that one glows really well (and this one doesn't glow that much). We have several of the Chuck It glow balls, and they're great. However, as a fun colored and fantastic ball that floats really well and dogs love... this one is fantastic. We take this one to the beach and throw it in the surf, and our black lab always finds it. In fact, this is the one ball that constantly gets stolen by other dogs! So, we have to chase them or track them for a while before we finally get the ball back. What I just described has happened literally dozens of times. And all of those dogs already had their own balls that they were playing fetch with! That's how popular this ball is with dogs (at least at our local dog beach). We already have 2 of these, and I'm back buying another two (as they're often misplaced when we want to go to the beach). (No, I didn't get this for free, or for a discount, or any other "make me a better reviewer" deal. Frankly, our dog just loves this ball.)By the way, this review is based on over three years of use by a 110 lb Lab (of the large-size ball). Every time she sees it she starts jumping around like a puppy (she's 8), because she knows she is going to the beach. I've tried several other balls at the beach and in the water, and this one beats them all. She hasn't been able to destroy it either -- lots of "fetch" and chewing, but not a single puncture! Only the Kong and Chuck It products can stand up as well as this. Everything else gets turned into plastic shrapnel over time. It might have to do with the fact that this ball (in large) is a bit larger than the Chuck It XL, and certainly bigger than a tennis ball, so perhaps she can't get the same leverage, even though this ball compresses down a bit more (as it's a softer plastic than those other balls).Subtracted one star because you can't choose your color. (The red is just ok. I'd pick the green every time if possible, since she seems to be able to find and fetch the green better than the red in the surf -- I would have thought the opposite!)My dog tears up EVERYTHING except the first stuffed animal he got as a puppy. This ball is great. It doesn't really bounce much, which is fine with me. We play fetch down the hall way for hours. Even when he chews on it, he hasn't made a dent. I've bought total of three now. One for my dog, one for my daughter's dog and one for my 2 year old grandson so he doesn't steal the one for my daughter's dog. Lol! Everyone's happyMy Pitt mix LOVES tennis balls, but will destroy one in minutes. Randomly purchased one of these balls for her in hopes it would last a week. I still have the original a year later. I have been buying them 4 at a time and she loves them. We even take a ball on our walk everyday. She doesn’t play fetch as she plays with them by herself so they don’t get tossed around like most would but I think they are extremely well made. I have had 3 break this winter , but that was due to my parents German Shepherd biting then after they had sat outside in Cleveland winter days. If you have a super chewer you need to try these.I love this product.Durable, and a favorite for my Rottweiler. The ball is sturdy and perfect size for a small dog. The only issue I have so far is the black logo on the ball is already coming off and she's had it less than a day and hasn't played with it a lot.I saw the mixed reviews of some loved this ball and others did not. So I took the chance and bought a pair. With working late, my puppy doesn't get to go to the park till sunset and he looses sight of the ball quickly. Was hoping to find a durable glowing ball for after dark play to get the zoomies out.Well, it's been a few days and neither ball glows like pictured in the ad or other people's reviews that do glow. May be a defective pair, I'm not sure. They do not bounce either, so that's a bummer cause he's learning to catch and loves the bouncing ones. The no bounce isn't a big deal but the lack of glow was for me.They are hard to squeeze and I see some teeth marks being made but it is durable for a 10 lb mixed breed that chews to death more toys.My puppy loves the balls so I won't be returning them cause he does enjoy walking around the house with one in mouth haha so for now they serve a purpose.I brought this ball so that I could continue to play fetch with my dog in the dark on his morning walk. Unfortunately the ball does not glow at all. The reason it gets three stars is because it is a brilliant ball. Even though I can't see it the dog seems to be able to find it. It also seems pretty indestructable.Loved the glow in the dark ball. All is dog walkers loose our tennis balls in park. I refuse to take them anymore. Until I got this ball. Every one asks,’ Where did you get that ball from? No batteries or having to recharge! Fantastic. The quality of the ball is very good - durable, easy to clean which was nice. HOWEVER it is missing the most important feature - it doesn't really glow! It gets dark quite early in the winter and for the evening walks we bought this one after losing a non-glowing ball. We lost it after a week in the dark. Notice that we had been exposing the ball to light but it didn't make a difference. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who came here looking for a glowing ball.I gave this 2 stars because my dogs were bored of it quickly. Certainly durable and didn’t glow much but the balls itself where rock solid. Not the greatest quality in my opinion. And very small than what was expected. They are very nice balls however the sizing was confusing and I wanted one that fit into a ball checker and these were huge
