granted, my pittie is a bit harsh on toys but this didn't last longwhile larger than expected, the canvas on the body was thin and the rope softI do think I got my $5 worth out of it (or the dog did to be more precise) but took off 1 star for constructionI found the fabric on this to be quite thin and not as sturdy as it seems. My dog's tooth snagged it and ripped the fabric within minutes of it coming out of the box. Sigh...I guess I'll keep looking!My dog loves his Flappy! This is the first one that he hasn't been able to destroy in a week -- still holding together for over a month now!We got this toy in the small size for our miniature dachshund and she has had two of them now. She loves to play tug of war with the strings and flap them around. The squeaker was good for getting her attention until it stopped working but she and her puppies focus mostly on the strings and basically just try to shred them. They last about a year until they have to be thrown away as long as she has a few other toys to focus on too. The only tiny negative I have is that the knots at the end come out pretty quickly but it's to be expected with rope toys. We only have one other toy that has made it that long and she has immediately chewed up every toy labeled for "power chewers" so this has been a great buy.Our dog absolutely loved this toy for the first 10 seconds of its life. We had to throw it away after only 30 seconds total playing time. Great idea, but not for any type of chewer.Not impressed with this toy at all. I haven't got a vicious dog, just a soppy Labrador and this would be more suited to a toy dog! It probably lasted one day when the stuffing started to come out. Also, size of toy is measured from the extreme ends of the tassels so actual toy is small.
