My grandson loves his truckBoy loved them and they are built well. His other trucks the axles bent because he likes to put his weight on the back of the truck and push it around. This truck didn't bend and we are very happy with that. Would be nice if the lights turned off after a while when not in use. We burn through batteries and ended up getting the rechargeable ones for this.Christmas giftGranddaugher was thrilled with this Hess. It came out the same year she was born and she absolutely loves playing with itMy F-in-L gave my son (3 yr old) the Helicopter from 2012/2013 at Christmas. I was so impressed by the quality and had never seen this type of promotional toy before. I looked into them and found there was one for each year. I am sending them as gifts now and have collected about 8 of the toys. Incredible lights/sounds, nothing like a cheaply built toy you might expect, seriously good value and well built. 3 or 33, you will be impressed and want more of them.I ordered the 2011 truck, and even though the barcode sticker says 2011 the box and the truck are from 1997. There is nothing wrong with the truck, it is just not what I orderedThis set is an awesome toy for our little boy! It is well constructed & has held up well to a 2 year old's rough play. He absolutely loves it. It is the perfect size & they ride so smooth you'd swear they have bearings in the wheels.this was a starter car for a 2-1/2 year old who was graduating out of tons o' books and puzzles, fisher-price peg figures and their plastic dioramas, and a big variety of wooden push toys. so, let's see: it's colorful, there are buttons to push, moving parts, a variety of noises that repeat endlessly, a self-propelling car, flashing lights . . . and you can't break it. what more could you possibly want?
